If you will want to go downhill skiing it is 13 km to Fjätervålens fine ski lift. It's about 30 km to Idrefjälls east lift system and to the main system it's 35 km. If you want to go to Hovärkens hillside in Lofsdalen is it 50 km.

The advantage with Fjätervålen, besides the short distance, is the small size of the system which results in almost non-existing queues. Although it's a small system there are slalom slopes for beginners and experienced skiers.
